It's almost May, which means 2 things

1. FREE Comic Book Day
2. Cinco de Mayo.

This year I am especially looking forward to free comic book day, because it will kick off the new Superman storyline War of the Supermen. It looks like it will be pretty bad ass. Next week, Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton will finish up, and then we will go right into War of the Supermen. Looking forward to the end of May, Superman: Secret Origin will also wrap up. Hot damn it's a great time to be a Superman fan.

On the other hand, Smallville Season 9 (which utterly sucks) is hopefully coming to an end soon. It's been just about as bad as the 1st Season if not worse. So do yourself a favor and read the comics, that's the real Superman.

Cinco de Mayo is a great excuse me for to grab a 12 pack of Corona and relax. Actually, the past 3 Cinco de Mayos I've been playing either Halo 2 or Halo 3 on Xbox Live. It's become a pretty fun to day to play games online, so I'll be spending my Cinco de Mayo with a cold Corona, some nachos, hopefully my lovely lady, and ST E V E O 28.

Ozzy and Iowa

The new Ozzy single is out. His new album called Scream will release June 15th. He's also going on an 18 month world wide tour. Awesome! Make a stop in the Twin Cities for me please....

It's going to be a good summer for metal. Black Label Society is also coming out with a new album sometime in the summer, and I'm looking forward to the release of their 1st single.

I'm really liking it the more that I listen to it, but it still saddens me that Zakk Wylde and Ozzy have parted ways. Most people don't even realize that Black Rain would have been a much better album if Ozzy had decided to release the 3 tracks that were included in the Limited Edition on the original album. I long to hear the Metal God rip open the skies once again!

I'm in Iowa for the next couple of days, there is so much to do here that I find myself updating my blog! Bars tonight, bars tomorrow, and then basketball on Sunday.
